FSA Plans

Plan Effective Date: 1/1/2020 – 12/31/2020

Our Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Plan allows eligible employees to pay for certain IRS qualified expenses using pre-tax dollars. You may elect to participate in one or both of the following FSA programs: Health Care FSA (HFSA), Limited Purpose FSA (LFSA) or Dependent Day Care FSA (DFSA). The FSA Participant Handbook provides additional details about these plans on pages 13-14.

Eligible Expenses

Click here for a list examples of eligible & ineligible HFSA expenses.

Please note: if you are enrolled in the Health/Silver plan or Health/Bronze, you can elect the LFSA and/or DCA only. The HFSA plan is not available. You are, however, eligible for an HSA plan to cover eligible medical expenses, as well as a LFSA for medically necessary dental and vision expenses.

Contribution Information & Remaining Balance Details

The maximum contribution to a HFSA and LFSA is $2,750 per plan year.

The maximum contribution to a DFSA is $5,000 per plan year ($2,500 if you are married and filing separately).

Remaining balances at the end of the plan year for FSA, LFSA, and DCA are subject to a 75 day grace period, followed by a 90 day run out. This allows participants an additional 75 days in the new plan year to incur new DFSA expenses; and an additional 90 days to submit claims from within the plan year and grace period.
