FSA Plans
Plan Effective Date: 1/1/2024 – 12/31/2024
Our Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Plan allows eligible employees to pay for certain IRS qualified expenses using pre-tax dollars. You may elect to participate in one or both of the following FSA programs: Health Care FSA (HFSA), Limited Purpose FSA (LFSA) or Dependent Day Care FSA (DFSA). The FSA Participant Handbook provides additional details about these plans.
Transportation and Parking Accounts are Qualified Transportation Accounts (QTAs) that allow employees to set aside pre-tax funds used for eligible transit and parking expenses related to commute to work. OTAs are governed by IRC Section 132. If the participant has both a parking account and a transit account, each account is entirely separate, and funds cannot be transferred from one to the other. The Transportation and Parking Commuter Summary of Benefits provides additional details about these plans.

Contribution Information & Remaining Balance Details
The maximum contribution to a HFSA and LFSA is $3,200 per plan year.
The maximum contribution to a DFSA is $5,000 per plan year ($2,500 if you are married and filing separately).
The maximum contribution to a Transit and Parking account is $315 per account per month.
Remaining balances at the end of the plan year in the DCA are subject to a 75 day grace period, followed by a 90 day run-out. This allows participants an additional 75 days in the new plan year to incur new DFSA expenses; and an additional 90 days to submit claims from within the plan year and grace period. On Health FSA and LP-FSA employees have a 90 days to submit for claims with services dates within the plan year. After the 90 day run-out period, any balance of $640 or under will carryover into the new plan year for use all year. Balances over $500 will be forfeited under IRS rules.
Remaining monthly balances for Transit and Parking account will be carried over from month to month.
