Short-Term Disability Benefits

Eligible group: all employees in active employment in the USA with the employer

Elimination Period:

  • 0 days for disability due to an injury
  • 7 days for disability due to sickness
  • Benefits begin the day after the elimination period is complete

Weekly Benefits:

  • 60% of weekly earnings to a maximum benefit of $2,500 per week
  • Your payment may be reduced by deductible sources of income and disability earnings. Some disabilities may not be covered under the plan.

Maximum Period of Payment: 13 weeks

Long-Term Disability Benefits

Monthly Benefits:

  • 60% of monthly earnings to a $10,000 maximum

Elimination Period:

  • 90 day elimination period before benefits begin

Maximum benefit duration is to age 65
